What is a reflective harness?
A reflective harness is a strap garment made with light-reflective material, so the straps light up when headlights or a camera flash hit them. It is worn as a visible layer over clothing at night events, festivals and photo shoots.
How does the reflective material work?
The strap surface is coated with retro-reflective film that sends light back toward its source. In normal daylight it looks like a plain grey or silver strap; under a direct light source it appears bright. The effect needs a light pointed at it, so it shows most in photos taken with flash.
Is it visible in daylight?
In daylight the harness reads as a matte silver-grey strap piece and the reflective effect is not obvious. The look is designed for night settings and flash photography.
What size should I order?
Sizes run XS to 7XL and most styles adjust at the buckle. Each product page carries its own measurement chart; use underbust for chest styles and waist for belt styles. Between two sizes, choose the adjustable option.
How do I care for it?
Wipe the straps with a damp cloth and let them air dry, machine washing and tumble drying damage the reflective coating. Avoid ironing the reflective surface and store the harness flat rather than folded at a sharp crease.
